- The shipper is responsible for dropping off the goods directly at the assigned warehouse in China.
- The consignee is also responsible for picking up the goods directly from the assigned warehouse in United Arab Emirates.
- The consignee is responsible for customs clearance; GTL will not be liable for any import clearance failures.

Sea Freight is calculated based on the chargeable volume of cargo as mentioned above. The estimation factor for calculating CBM shipping or volumetric weight when opted for ocean transportation is generally 1:1000- one cubic meter is equal to about 1000 kilograms. The CBM shipping formula is (Length x Width x Height) x CBM of packages being shipped. Please note that if the shipment contains different sized items, repeat the above-mentioned formula for each size and add up the volumes in the end. For example: if your package is 3 meters long, 2 meters wide, and 3.2 meters in height; the CBM would be 3 x 2 x 3.2 = 19.2 CBM You can easily calculate the total volume of the entire package through this formula; CBM x Packages Qty = Total Volume.What is CBM or Cubic Meter and How CBM is calculated?
